I'm a 22 year old girl living in Florida trying to tell stories through photo + video by celebrating others and their seasons of life. Obsessed with:
Diet Dr. Pepper, houseplants and big hats.
It was a Kodak digital camera that was basically a brick but it got the job done. I was so obsessed with taking everyone's pictures and the rest is basically history! I was in AP Photography in high school and learned a lot.
FUN FACT: I won a national Art and Writing competition in high school + got to go to NYC for free + see my photo on the Times Square Billboard!
I recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor's in Communication as well! I loved my time at UCF but of course was ready to start the next chapter of my life.
YEARS WE'VE SPENT TOGETHER
Ryan and I have been dating for a little over four years and in 2020, he will officially be added to the JMP Team! He's a major part in my life and you'll 100% hear me talk about him at some point so let's jump into our story... It's my favorite to tell.
TIMES I DRAGGED HIM TO THE MALL OR IKEA ;)

Adventurous Hikes taken
We first met when I was 16 and Ryan was 18. We were both working at Publix (AKA the best grocery store in the Southeast) and his store closed for renovations. He transferred to my store but I recently started dating someone else a few months prior. I thought he was SO handsome but tossed the thought to the back of my mind.
Flash forward a few years and the previous relationship ended, Ryan only worked at my store a couple months then moved back to his. I'd occasionally see him if he was grocery shopping or grabbing a snack. Then I started working once a week with his brother, Brad stocking groceries. Being on the grocery team meant you got out late from work (usually around 12am or 1am). Brad would always be a gentleman and make sure I got to my car safe and one night, Ryan came up in conversation. I mentioned I'd always thought he was cute and wanted to at least be friends or something! Brad replies with, "Why don't you give me your number and I'll give it to Ryan! He'll call you." UHM NO!
Never have I ever made the first move especially with a guy but I've always been about randomly doing things outside your comfort zone and this was it. I gave Brad my number to pass along to Ryan and super long story short... Ryan didn't call. 2 months go by and NOTHING. I knew it was a mistake. And to add on to it all, he starts working full time at my store again! Embarrassing is an understatement.
Turns out, Brad completely forgot to give my number to Ryan and the night he finally gave it to him, I got a Facebook message. "If I knew a purty (yes he actually said this) girl like you was trying to talk to me, I would have said something." We talked the rest of the night, had a picnic for our first date a week later and that's just the beginning! The date ended up being almost 9 hours long because we couldn't stop talking. It ended with us talking on my patio. The photo on the left is one that I snuck that night. And wow, he CAUGHT ME. I'm not kidding. I took it and immediately he looked up and said with a smile, "Did you just take my picture?" Yes. Yes I did #updatesforfriends
We're probably the most chill couple you'll meet. We laugh, we make fun of each other, imitate each other on a daily basis and are always down for an adventure that doesn't cost a lot of money. We are also SO different but it works for us! We love going out to eat at new restaurants (Ryan usually gets a burger no matter where we go), love traveling together - even though we are both terrified of flying, and love jamming out to music in the car. Music meaning anything from Tim McGraw to Drake.
I already am obsessed with having him by my side at weddings and can't wait for us to have our own someday!
P.S. If you want to get on Ryan's good side, he loves food. Give him food and he'll be happy! Follow the rest of our love story on my Instagram!

While I'm mainly editing photos or cooking the same meal I eat every day (#TheFeliciaCombo), in my spare time I love to decorate my little apartment! My style seems to be a mixture of mid century modern/ farmhouse, mainly because every mid century piece is extremely expensive. Many people question why I customize so many parts of my apartment since it's only a temporary home but I believe your living space should excite you and keep you comfortable so I love making it my own! Most pieces are second-hand because 1. Save the planet/ Reuse and 2. I'm a baller on a budget.
I'm obsessed with shows like "Fixer Upper" and home decor accounts on Instagram that really inspire me. I'm excited for one day when Ryan and I buy a house and I can decorate all of it!
